Each of our team members is insured through Pet Care Business Insurance and is happy to provide you with proof of insurance for your piece of mind.
We use Time to Pet as our business management software. This program will allow you to review and send messages from your Good Fur U service provider, update your personal information, request services, review your current services, view current (and past) invoices as well as make payments!
The program also enables us to send you a report for all services. During pet sitting or dog walking visits we document any details which including potty information, photos and other notes. After the visit is completed it is automatically sent to your email to notify you of the details of our visit. (Text notification is also available). During visits, you will also be notified of any medical concerns that we may have noticed. From allergies to inappetence and limps, you will be notified of any physical or behavioral differences we may have noticed in your pet. For dog training, you will receive a report after your pet's lesson lesson notes and homework for the next lesson.
WALKS: When we go for a walk, your pet is always double leashed for safety. We utilize a hands-free waist leash as well as a slip lead to ensure that there are no accidents. Your trust and pet's safety is our number one concern. During our walks we also use an app called Walk for a Dog by wooftrax. When you choose Good Fur U for dog walking, you are also supporting local humane societies. The organization that we have chosen is Help Save Pets, here in Plainfield. ATTENTION TO DETAIL: We utilize shoe covers to protect your floors in the event of rain or snow. We will also do a quick inspection of your home to make sure that your pet did not have any incidents or accidents prior to our arrival. You will be notified of any issues via the Time To Pet report, or contacted directly if it is an urgent matter.
PAYMENTS: For your convenience we accept CASH, CREDIT CARDS and CHECKS. Credit cards may be processed in person via Square -or- online through our website/management software (PayPal & WePay). All payment is due at time services are rendered. No refunds will be provided after care is received. With that being said, If there is a concern arising from your visit, please contact us immediately. You (and your pet's) happiness is our number one concern and we will make every attempt to find a solution.
CANCELLATION: We are very flexible on our cancellation policies. No cancellation fees - even same day!
SCHEDULING:We will make every attempt to provide service at your desired time, but may fall within an hour either direction. Due to the high demand of midday visits and walks (not to mention the uncertainty of traffic), we cannot guarantee a specific time, but rather a block of time. If you are interested in a midday walk, it will be provided between the hours of 10:30 am - 1:30 pm.
